  I guess #6 is what I experienced.

  I was pressured by my ex-pioneer wife to become a MS. The Elders and CO wanted me to get more than the national average in hours, which was around 10 at the time. They went so far as to actually say 13 or more hours for 6 months straight to show that "I'm serious minded about the ministry" and I would probably make MS. I eventually did.

  I'm like Blondie also #1, I enjoyed talking to people. I tried to get the message and not the Mag's to the people. I wanted to find people to study with.

  Thank You Country Women. I wish you and your family the same. Alot of presents does not make for a great Xmas. It's family and time spent with them that counts. I hope your able to enjoy your family during this Holiday season.

  three years ago today i joined this forum.

  i remember the day becaue i was quite angry with my parents.

  their continued attempts to take my kids to the meeting and give them litterature was really getting to me.

  Removed from being an elder for being over weight?

  in the waterbury conneticut area there was a circut overseer named caramelous (greek name not sure of spelling).

  this brother more than 30 years back was having all the congregation servants removed because they where over weight.

  i guess they used not moderate in habits (eating too much) as a scriptural reason.

  Hey Frankiespeakin,

  I remember him. I was only about 11 or 12. His first name was Nick. Ralphie used to have a hard time with him. Not to many Elders and Servants liked him from what I remember. Do you remember Paul Madsen, the CO who barked liked a dog on the podium at a circuit assembly? He was real young for a CO in his 30's I still owe you a phone call don't I?

  i understand that bem was involved in a car accident a couple of days ago and she's suffering from some broken ribs and a broken toe and is in a great deal of pain.
